Terms of Service

Effective 7 September 2026

The short version

  • You must be 13 or older to play, and 18 to agree to these terms without a parent's help.
  • Tickets are MiniAnt's virtual currency: no cash value, no cash-out, and the only way to move one to someone else is gifting a cosmetic on the site.
  • One Ticket fee buys one round. If a game fails to load, we refund it automatically.
  • Tournament pools pay 80% of entries back out as virtual prizes; we keep the other 20%.
  • Buying Tickets, MiniAnt Plus, or a Season Pass delivers instantly, so there's no cooling-off period on the purchase.
  • Cheating, multi-accounting, and referral fraud can get an account suspended or removed.
  • We're a small company in Bangladesh. If something's wrong, talk to us first.

Who we are, and what you're agreeing to

MiniAnt Games is the gaming portal at miniant.games, operated by Miniant Labs Limited, a company in Bangladesh. These terms are the agreement between you and that company ("we" and "us" from here on) for using the site, playing games on it, and spending or buying anything inside it.

By creating an account, playing as a guest, or otherwise using miniant.games, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

A separate document, our Privacy Policy, explains what we collect and why. Where a game on MiniAnt was made by someone else, "Games made by others" below explains how that changes things.

Who can play

You must be 13 or older to create an account or play a game on MiniAnt, including as a guest. If you're younger than 18, a parent or guardian needs to agree to these terms on your behalf before you play or spend anything.

MiniAnt is a general-audience site aimed at players 13 and up. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone that young — see "Children" in our Privacy Policy.

One account per person. Don't create a second account to get around a suspension, a limit, or a reward you've already claimed — see "Fair play" below.

Your account

You can sign in with a 6-digit one-time code sent to your email, or with Continue with Google or Discord. To stop code abuse, we cap how many sign-in codes can be sent to one email address and from one network in a short window.

You can also play as a guest, without an account. Guest play is capped at 3 free sessions per device per day, and guests don't have a Tickets wallet — you need an account to earn or spend Tickets.

Whoever controls the email address or Google or Discord account behind your MiniAnt account controls the account. Tell us immediately at support@miniant.games if you think someone else has access to yours.

Your username is unique across MiniAnt and public wherever you appear — leaderboards, matches, the spectator view. Don't pick one that impersonates someone else, is abusive, or infringes a trademark; we can rename or suspend an account that does.

Playing games

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to play games on MiniAnt for your own entertainment. You don't own a game or the code behind it — you own the right to play it under these terms, and to keep whatever cosmetics or entitlements you've earned or bought.

Some games on MiniAnt are made by us; most are made by independent developers publishing through our developer portal. Either way you're playing on MiniAnt's platform — your account, wallet, and progress work the same regardless of who made the game. "Games made by others" below covers what's different about those.

We try to keep MiniAnt available, but we don't promise any particular game, feature, or mode will always be there — we can add, remove, or change one, especially if a developer withdraws a game or it stops working. We can also update the site or these terms; material changes to a game don't take away what you've already earned, and material changes to these terms are listed in "Changes to this document" below.

Tickets

Tickets are MiniAnt's virtual, in-portal currency. They exist only inside MiniAnt, only registered accounts have a wallet, and they have no cash value and can't be cashed out. You can only move value to another player by gifting a cosmetic at full price (see "Buying things"). Tickets aren't a reward for winning — you don't earn Tickets per match win.

How you get them

  • A 500-Ticket bonus when you create an account.
  • A daily login bonus that scales with your streak, plus daily and weekly quests.
  • Referrals: +100 Tickets once a friend you referred has played 3 sessions on 2 different days, capped at 10 referral rewards a month.
  • Watching a rewarded ad — once ads run on MiniAnt — when your wallet is empty: +5 Tickets, exactly one session, with a ceiling of around 40 such ads a day.
  • Weekly play milestones.
  • Weekly and monthly leaderboard prize pools (see "Tournaments" below) — these require at least 20 sessions that week or 100 that month to qualify.
  • The MiniAnt Plus monthly allowance: 1,000 Tickets on each paid month.
  • Buying a Ticket pack (see "Buying things").

What they cost

Playing a game session costs 5 Tickets. One fee buys one round: a rematch is a new session and costs Tickets again, but resuming a session you already paid for is free. If a game fails to load, we refund the 5 Tickets automatically — you shouldn't need to ask. Some games charge extra Tickets for an in-game undo or continue. Spectating a match costs 2 Tickets (see "Multiplayer and spectating"). Tournament entry costs between 25 and 100 Tickets depending on the tournament. Cosmetics and profile items are priced individually.

Pass & Play (playing locally against a friend on the same device) and playing against the computer are charged the same 5 Tickets as any other session — there's no discount for playing without another online player.

We may need to tune prices, rewards, or caps as MiniAnt grows. If we do, we'll post the change here and in "Changes to this document"; we won't take back Tickets you already hold.

Buying things

Ticket packs

$0.99 for 300 Tickets, $2.99 for 1,000 Tickets, or $9.99 for 4,000 Tickets.

MiniAnt Plus

A recurring subscription at $3.99 a month. While active, it removes interstitial ads, credits 1,000 Tickets on each paid month, shows a member badge on your profile, and unlocks one exclusive cosmetic each season. The 5-Ticket session fee still applies to Plus members — Plus doesn't make games free. Plus members don't also receive the weekly play-milestone Ticket bonus, since Plus already includes a monthly allowance. You can cancel anytime; a cancelled subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then doesn't renew.

Season Pass

A one-time purchase at $3.99 that unlocks the premium reward track for the current calendar-month season. Once a season ends, buying the pass again starts the next season's.

Cosmetics and gifting

You can buy individual cosmetics and profile items with Tickets. The only way to move a cosmetic to someone else is gifting it to a friend on the site at full price — MiniAnt doesn't support any other transfer, trade, or resale of Tickets or items.

Prices, tax, and Stripe

All payments are processed by Stripe Checkout. We never see or store your card number — Stripe handles that directly. Prices are shown in US dollars; Stripe may add applicable tax at checkout depending on where you are.

Refunds and chargebacks

Ticket packs, Plus, and the Season Pass deliver instantly, so if your region normally gives online purchases a cooling-off period — for example, the EU's 14-day withdrawal right — you agree that it doesn't apply here, because delivery happens as soon as payment clears.

If a purchase is refunded or charged back, by you, your bank, or Stripe, we remove the Tickets that purchase added from your wallet, proportionally to what's left of that batch. If you've already spent them, your balance can go below zero. A negative balance blocks further play until it's cleared — by earning Tickets normally, or by contacting us at support@miniant.games.

Rewarded ads and offers

Rewarded ads are opt-in: once ads run on MiniAnt, you choose to watch one to unlock a reward — we never require watching an ad to get something you've already earned another way.

There are two kinds. When your wallet is empty, "watch to play" trades one ad for the 5 Tickets one session costs, so nobody is ever locked out of playing; it has a ceiling of around 40 ads a day purely to stop automated abuse. On a results screen, a rewarded ad can double the XP and quest progress of the session you just played. That one never adds Tickets.

A reward is only granted once the ad provider confirms the ad was actually watched, not just started. If there's no ad to show you, no reward is granted; we can't promise one will always be available.

Tournaments, leaderboards, and seasons

Entering a tournament costs Tickets, between 25 and 100 depending on the tournament. The prize pool is 80% of everyone's entry fees, paid out to the top finishers; we keep the remaining 20%, which is removed from circulation rather than reissued. A sponsored tournament may add extra prizes on top of the entry pool.

All tournament and leaderboard prizes are virtual. There is never a real-money entry fee or a real-money prize on MiniAnt — winning a tournament here is not gambling, and nothing in these terms should be read as offering one.

Leaderboards rank players by XP. Deliberately choosing to play against the computer doesn't earn XP; if an online match instead fills an empty seat with a bot, that session still counts and still earns XP, because you were genuinely trying to play against another person. Weekly and monthly leaderboard Ticket pools require a minimum amount of real play to qualify — at least 20 sessions that week, or 100 that month — so the pool goes to players who actually played.

We can cancel a tournament, for example if it isn't working as intended, and refund every entry fee. Cheating in a tournament disqualifies you from its prizes and can lead to the action described in "Fair play" below.

Fair play

The following break these terms and can get you warned, suspended, or permanently removed, and can cost you Tickets, rank, or winnings gained through them:

  • Cheating or automation: bots, scripts, macros, or any tool that plays for you or gives you an unfair advantage over another player.
  • Multi-accounting: creating more than one account to farm rewards, dodge a suspension, or unfairly stack referral or leaderboard rewards.
  • Referral fraud: referring accounts you control, or coordinating with someone to fake the referral requirement described in "Tickets".
  • Exploiting bugs: deliberately using a bug or glitch to gain Tickets, rank, or an item you weren't meant to have, instead of reporting it to us.
  • Harassment and impersonation: abusing another player in chat or reports, or presenting yourself as MiniAnt staff, another player, or a developer you're not.
  • Scraping: automated collection of data from the site beyond normal play.
  • Circumventing the wallet: any attempt to create, duplicate, or transfer Tickets outside the ways described in "Tickets" and "Buying things".
  • Selling accounts: MiniAnt accounts, and anything inside them, are personal to you and aren't for sale or transfer to anyone else.

Your content and chat

Anything you post on MiniAnt — a profile bio, a display name, a match or spectator chat message, a report you file — is yours, but by posting it you let us display it to the people it's meant for: other players in a match, spectators in that match's chat, or our own staff reviewing a report.

We can remove content that breaks these terms, and we keep an audit log of staff actions taken on reports. If you report a game or a chat message, the report can include the message itself and its surrounding context, so we can review it fairly.

Multiplayer and spectating

In a multiplayer match, the other players see your display name, avatar, country flag (only if you've turned that on), and your equipped cosmetics.

Spectating a match costs 2 Tickets. You can turn off being spectated at any time in your account settings — that switch is the control you have over who can watch you play.

Spectators can see the match and chat with each other in a spectator-only channel. Spectators can't message players directly, and players can't see spectator chat.

Importing progress

If a game you already play elsewhere is also on MiniAnt, you can do a one-time, player-initiated import of your save from that game. It's cosmetic only: it brings across your level and unlocks in that game, never Tickets, rank, or leaderboard position — those only ever come from sessions played through MiniAnt. See why progress import works this way for the full explanation.

Games made by others

Most games on MiniAnt are published by independent developers through our developer portal at publish.miniant.games. We provide the platform — accounts, wallet, matchmaking, spectating, leaderboards; the developer builds and owns the game itself.

A game may have its own in-game rules, modes, or messaging layered on top of these terms; where it doesn't conflict with these terms, that's between you and the game. The developer is responsible for what their game does with the player information MiniAnt gives it — display name, avatar, country flag if you've enabled it, guest status, locale, and your cosmetics and entitlements for that game. A developer never receives your email address.

Developers agree to their own terms when they publish, including that progress imported into MiniAnt is cosmetic-only exactly as described above, and that anything bought or earned outside MiniAnt has no value inside it. See publish.miniant.games/terms.

Streaming and videos

You're welcome to record or stream your MiniAnt gameplay and monetise that recording or stream, as long as you don't present it as if MiniAnt endorses you or your channel, and you respect the rights of whoever made the game you're playing.

Intellectual property

The MiniAnt name, logo, site design, and our own games are ours or licensed to us. Games made by other developers belong to them. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that ownership to you — you get the licence to play described in "Playing games", not a copy of the work.

If you believe something on MiniAnt infringes your rights, contact us at support@miniant.games with enough detail to identify it, and we'll look into it.

Suspension and termination

We can suspend or terminate your account for breaking these terms, especially anything in "Fair play", or if we're required to by law. Where we can, we'll tell you why.

You can stop using MiniAnt, or ask us to delete your account, at any time — see our Privacy Policy for how.

Closing or losing an account this way forfeits whatever Tickets, Plus time, cosmetics, and pass progress were on it, without a refund. That's why we take wallet-affecting fair-play decisions seriously rather than lightly.

What we don't promise

MiniAnt, and every game on it, is provided AS IS. We don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or secure, we don't promise every developer's game matches its description exactly, and we don't promise any particular Tickets, rank, or outcome from playing.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows it, our liability to you for anything arising from these terms or your use of MiniAnt is limited to the greater of USD 50 or whatever you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We never try to limit or exclude anything the law says can't be limited or excluded; where that applies, this section only goes as far as the law lets it.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Bangladesh, where Miniant Labs Limited is based. If you're a consumer, you keep whatever mandatory protections your own country's law gives you regardless of this clause. If something's wrong, please talk to us at support@miniant.games first — most things are easier to fix that way than through a formal dispute.

Changes to this document

We'll update this page when something material changes, and list it below with the date.
